Brigade commanders of the AFU were ordered to record a video in support of Syrskyi, — Sternenko

Volunteer Serhiy Sternenko stated that commanders of Ukrainian brigades were ordered to record video appeals in support of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. Sources among the military confirmed the receipt of such an instruction.

According to one of the servicemen, screenshots of which Sternenko provided, on the morning of July 18, brigade commanders received an instruction to record and publish videos in support of Syrskyi by 17:00.

Another serviceman reported that in the Airborne Assault Forces the task came from the Airborne Assault Forces command. Another interlocutor noted that the preparation of the videos was entrusted to the communication units of the brigades.

An interlocutor of UP in the Defence Forces also reported that “the task was given to record video appeals from our brigade commanders.”

“Brigade commanders were given an order to record videos in support of Syrskyi. Military personnel who speak out against are repressed,” — Sternenko.

Sternenko also claims that one of the servicemen of the “Skelya” unit published a post against Syrskyi, after which he disappeared and his account was deleted. There is no additional data or evidence for this part of the statement at this time.
