In the Verkhovna Rada, an appeal to Zelenskyy regarding Syrskyi’s resignation was initiated

An appeal to Zelenskyy regarding the possible dismissal of Syrskyi has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

A group of people’s deputies has initiated a draft appeal to the president calling for consideration of the resignation of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrskyi and the appointment of a new leader based on criteria of professional effectiveness.

In addition, the document proposes introducing regular classified reports by the top military command to the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

Adoption of the appeal requires the signatures of at least 226 people’s deputies.
