«Crimean switch off»: night attack by USF drones disabled 13 substations and destroyed four occupier vessels

On the night of July 19, Ukrainian drone operators delivered a devastating strike on the occupiers’ logistical and energy facilities, successfully hitting vessels of the “shadow fleet” in the Black Sea and disabling a number of critically important substations in Crimea and the temporarily occupied territories.

This was reported by Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.

Operations of the Unmanned Systems Forces, known as “MoLoChKa” and “Crimean Switch off,” continue to demonstrate high effectiveness against the enemy. Overall, between July 1 and 19, Ukrainian defenders managed to disable 176 vessels of the Russian Federation’s “shadow fleet” and destroy or damage 96 energy nodes. In just the past night alone, 59 enemy targets in the operational depth were effectively struck.

During the nighttime raid in the Black Sea, Ukrainian “birds” hit two Russian tankers, a dry-cargo vessel, and a floating crane used by the enemy to support its maritime logistics routes. Simultaneously, as part of the “Crimean Switch off” operation, strikes were carried out on 13 energy nodes, eight of which are located directly in occupied Crimea and five on the captured territories of southern and eastern Ukraine. In particular, electrical substations in Kerch, Stary Krym, Ponyzivka, Yalta, Sudak, Shchebetovka, Yedy-Kuyu, Zeleny Yar, and Berdyansk were hit, along with energy infrastructure facilities in Kherson, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.
