Terror of peaceful quarters: occupiers dropped seven aerial bombs on Sumy, there are wounded and people under the rubble

On the morning of July 19, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive air strike on Sumy, dropping seven guided aerial bombs. The attack caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure, with casualties reported, and emergency rescue operations are ongoing.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on his Telegram channel.

The enemy targeted civilian sites in the city, resulting in hits on residential areas and an industrial zone. The Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy was hit hardest, where the blast wave and shrapnel damaged infrastructure.

Rescue services are working promptly at the impact sites. Three injured people are known to have been hospitalized. According to preliminary data, at least one more person may be trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings. Specialists continue clearing the debris, while information on the full extent of the damage and casualties is being clarified.
