Border Terror: The RF massively attacked three regions of Ukraine, resulting in fatalities and dozens of injuries

Over the past day, Russian occupation forces struck residential neighborhoods and infrastructure in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions. As a result of the enemy shelling, three civilians were killed and another 24 people were injured, including an eight-year-old child.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus, and the press center of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

The situation in Sumy region remains extremely tense: over the course of the day the enemy carried out more than 60 strikes on 25 settlements. Russian forces actively used guided aerial bombs, artillery, and attack drones. As a result of the attacks, a 33-year-old man was killed in the Seredyna-Buda community, while several other civilians were wounded in the Shostka, Hlukhiv, and Sadove communities. Numerous civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, leading to destruction in the residential sector.

Kharkiv region came under attack in 24 settlements. The enemy used a wide range of weapons, including 17 guided aerial bombs and dozens of various UAVs. Two people were killed and another 20 were injured. The most tragic events unfolded in the settlement of Slatyne, where a 35-year-old woman was killed and a child was wounded, and in Bohodukhiv, where another civilian death was recorded. Significant damage was inflicted on social and residential infrastructure: educational institutions, outpatient clinics, post offices, railway facilities, as well as private homes and outbuildings were hit.

In Chernihiv region, enemy attacks targeted business and public infrastructure facilities. The occupiers struck enterprises in Chernihiv and Berezna, resulting in the destruction of equipment and machinery. In addition, bakeries, houses of culture, and shops in the Koriukivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi, and Semenivka communities came under fire. Russian drones also caused fires in open areas, particularly in the Snovsk community.
