Frontline situation: the most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk, Slovyansk, and Kostyantynivka directions

Since the beginning of the day on July 24, 192 combat clashes have occurred on the front line. Russian troops showed the greatest activity in the Pokrovsk, Slovyansk, and Kostyantynivka directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, during the day the Russian army carried out two missile strikes using five missiles, conducted 56 airstrikes using 186 guided aerial bombs, deployed 5,746 kamikaze drones for attacks, and carried out 2,297 strikes on Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas.

Five combat clashes occurred in the North Slobozhanske and Kursk directions. In the South Slobozhanske direction, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions seven times. In the Kupyansk direction, five attacks were recorded, with one combat clash still ongoing. In the Lyman direction, the occupiers made 12 attempts to advance, with two combat clashes still ongoing.

In the Slovyansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 20 enemy offensive attempts, with three more attacks ongoing. In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces carried out one attack. In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defence Forces repelled 16 assaults, with one combat clash still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 24 attacks. According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian troops eliminated 38 Russian soldiers and wounded another 20. Three vehicles, one piece of special equipment, 24 personnel shelters were destroyed, and 177 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed. An artillery system, three vehicles, a UAV control point, and 116 enemy personnel shelters were also damaged.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice. In the Huliaipole direction, the Defence Forces repelled 10 attacks, with one combat clash still ongoing. In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped two offensive attempts. No offensive actions were conducted by the enemy in the Prydniprovske direction. No significant changes in the situation were recorded in other directions.
