A 39-year-old resident of Krakow, who on August 5 rudely and obscenely insulted two Ukrainian citizens and attempted to strike a Ukrainian woman, came to the police station himself. He was detained.
The Polish police are conducting an investigation into the incident of insult on national grounds.

As the law enforcement officers reported, the man appeared at the police station on Friday around 19:00 on his own.
He was detained, after which the officers initiated the necessary procedural actions. The man is to be brought to the prosecutor’s office, where charges may be filed against him.
Under Polish law, insulting a person because of their nationality is punishable by up to three years in prison.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 5, in the area of Polonijna Street in Krakow. The video of the conflict was shared online.
The footage shows the man approaching a Ukrainian woman who was returning from the store, beginning to insult her with obscenities and attempting to hit her.
His behavior was recorded by another man walking behind them. The police confirmed that he is also a Ukrainian citizen.
When the aggressor noticed he was being filmed, he began chasing the man, threatening and insulting him. Eventually, the attacker stopped the pursuit but continued shouting insults at the Ukrainian.
