In Kherson region, the list of settlements for mandatory evacuation has been expanded: which villages were added
In Kherson region, the villages of Krasnosilske and Charivne in the Borozenska community have been added to the list of settlements where mandatory evacuation of the population is underway. Entry of families with children to these villages has also been banned due to the threat to their lives.
This was announced by Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin at a briefing on the results of the week’s work.
“By decision of the Kherson Region Defense Council, the villages of Krasnosilske and Charivne in the Borozenska community have been added to the list of settlements in the region where mandatory evacuation of the population to safe areas is being carried out,” Prokudin said.
He added that entry of families with children to these settlements has also been prohibited due to the threat to life.
Residents are advised to contact the regional call center regarding evacuation. People will be assisted both with departure and with settling in at the new location.
In addition, Prokudin reported the completion of repairs to two more shelters in Kherson — in the Korabelnyi and Dniprovskyi districts, which regularly suffer from Russian shelling. The protective structures can accommodate up to 780 people in total. The shelters have been equipped for prolonged stays and are accessible to all residents.
A youth space has also opened in Kherson. It has been set up inside a shelter, where young people can gather, socialize, study, implement their own ideas, or spend their free time.
