RF killed and wounded five civilians in Kherson region in a day

Throughout the day on August 10, Russian occupiers killed and wounded five civilians in the Kherson region. There is also damage to infrastructure.

This is reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

"Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s offices of the Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of war crimes (Part 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)", the report says.

According to the investigation, on August 10, 2026, the Russian army attacked the Kherson region using aviation, artillery, and drones of various types.   

As of 17:30, it was recorded that one person was killed and four were injured as a result of Russian aggression.  

Around 08:50, Russian troops in Kherson dropped explosives from a drone onto a civilian car – a 55-year-old driver sustained injuries incompatible with life.

In Kherson, a person was injured as a result of an airstrike. Three more civilians were injured in the regional center, Vysoke, and on the road between Kostyrka and Novoraysk due to enemy drone attacks. 

In addition, private and apartment buildings, administrative buildings, a hotel, a hospital, outbuildings, garages, and vehicles were damaged. 

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by Russian troops.
