Shufrich’s assistant Viktoriya Pinchuk received a 3-year suspended sentence for a scheme to smuggle a draft evader for $30,000

Scheme for draft dodgers’ escape for $30k: court sentences MP Nestor Shufrych’s assistant Viktoriya Pinchuk to 3 years probation for fraud and promises of "fake disability".

This was reported by the Telegram channel "Sudom po skhemam" citing case No. 759/17485/26.

The Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv, presided over by the presiding judge, considered criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud committed on a large scale, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, under martial law). The verdict based on the plea agreement was delivered on August 5, 2026.

The accused and convicted in the case was the assistant to the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Nestor Shufrych — Viktoriya Pinchuk (native of Kyiv).

 $10 thousand for "another person’s passport" and exit through MSEC

The investigation established that in August 2024, Viktoriya Pinchuk, acting in prior conspiracy with the assistant of another People’s Deputy of Ukraine, developed a scheme to profit from men of conscription age who sought to leave the country.

During a meeting near the Magelan shopping center in Kyiv, the accomplices promised the draft dodger for $25,000–30,000 to organize a comprehensive "solution to the issue":

Issuance of knowingly false documents on disability;

Removal from military registration through the TRC, involvement of foreign clinic doctors and MSEC employees to simulate the need for urgent treatment abroad and obtain a court decision on departure.

As an alternative, the MP Nestor Shufrych’s assistant offered to produce a forged Ukrainian citizen’s passport in another name for $6,000 and further smuggling outside checkpoints for another $10,000.

After receiving an advance of $10,000 (over UAH 416,000 equivalent) from the victim in two tranches at the Dream Yellow shopping center and near the Sviatoshyn metro station, the defendants stopped communicating with him and misappropriated the funds.

Plea deal with the prosecutor, remorse and suspended sentence

During the pre-trial investigation, Pinchuk V. V. concluded a plea agreement with the prosecutor, sincerely repented and actively contributed to the disclosure of the crime.

The court took into account the fulfillment of the agreement terms, namely:

• UAH 200,000 voluntarily transferred by the accused to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
•  Full compensation to the victim for damages in the amount of $7,000 (at the time of concluding the agreement).

Having considered the victim’s written consent, the court approved the plea agreement and ruled:

• To find MP N. Shufrych’s assistant Viktoriya Pinchuk guilty under Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and impose a punishment of 3 years of imprisonment;
• Pursuant to Art. 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, to release the convicted person from serving the sentence with probation (probationary period of 2 years);
• To return the previously posted bail of UAH 266,240 to the bailor.
