South Korea refused to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine

South Korea has no intention of supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Yonhap agency, citing a high-ranking representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

The official’s statement was a response to Zelenskyy’s words, who the day before reported on the DPRK’s plans to send additional troops to Russia.

«The government has already offered Ukraine assistance in energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and education and will continue to look for ways to support the restoration of peace and the reconstruction of the country», — the official noted, confirming that arms supplies remain excluded.

The agency emphasizes: Seoul provides Ukraine only with humanitarian aid and does not transfer lethal weapons to it.
