"Attempt to pressure and obstruct": Ombudsman reports conflict between his representative and TRC in Zakarpattia

In Zakarpattia region, attempts are being made to initiate criminal proceedings against the Ombudsman’s representative, stated Dmytro Lubinets.

According to the Ombudsman, this concerns his regional representative, Andriy Kryuchkov.

«I have received information that the head of the TRC and SP intends to fabricate criminal proceedings against Andriy Kryuchkov — allegedly for obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations», — Lubinets reported.

«In these actions, I see signs of interference in the work of the Commissioner and his representative aimed at preventing them from performing their official duties. Such interference is punishable under Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine», — he added.
