Russia strikes Balakliia for the second time in a day: one wounded and destruction

In the city of Balakliia, Kharkiv region, as a result of repeated Russian shelling of the city center, one person was injured, and there are destructions and damage to residential infrastructure.

This was reported by the head of the Balakliia City Military Administration Vitaliy Karabanov.

He noted that three private houses were damaged: one of them was completely destroyed, while two others were significantly damaged. A fire broke out in one of the private households after the impact.

"In addition, an apartment building that was damaged during the morning shelling was hit again. Additional window glazing was shattered.

Damage to other private houses was also recorded. Their number and the extent of the damage are currently being determined.

Relevant services are working at the scene, assisting people and clearing the consequences of the enemy attack.

Unfortunately, we see that the enemy does not stop shelling our community and creates a real threat to people’s lives every day. Today’s repeated strikes are further proof of that," the statement reads.
