Zelenskyy announced changes to the NMT: Ukrainians may be allowed to retake the test

Ukrainian graduates may be allowed to retake the National Multi-Subject Test. It is also planned to change the format of the NMT to reduce the psychological burden on schoolchildren.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the Ukrainian Youth Forum 2026.

According to Zelenskyy, next year it is planned to review the format of the NMT. In particular, he proposed giving graduates the opportunity to retake the test.

It is also planned to reduce the intensity of the NMT and review the timing of its administration. This is expected to help reduce the psychological burden on children.
