The Air Force will no longer publish data on launched and shot-down ballistic missiles in its morning reports

The Ukrainian Air Force will no longer indicate in its morning reports the exact number of Russian ballistic targets launched, shot down, or suppressed during massive attacks. At the same time, information about air threats in real time will continue to be available.

This was stated by the head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, on Facebook.

Ignat emphasized that the Air Force has not stopped informing Ukrainians about air threats and the nature of enemy attacks. In real time via Telegram, Viber, and WhatsApp, the military continues to report on air targets.

Morning reports on the results of the combat work of Ukrainian defenders during the night are also being preserved. At the same time, the military leadership has decided to make changes to these reports regarding enemy ballistic missiles during massive attacks.

“However, the military leadership has decided to introduce certain changes (restrictions) in the morning reports regarding enemy ‘ballistic missiles’ (during massive attacks) — the number of targets launched/shot down/suppressed that did not reach their targets,” Ihnat noted.

According to him, the media will continue to receive generalized information on the number of Russian missiles launched, including ballistic ones.

As an example, Ihnat cited July: according to him, during the month Russia used over 450 missiles, nearly 200 of which were ballistic.

He also recalled that the format of morning reports on Russian strikes has already been changed about ten times since the beginning of the full-scale war.
