The head of the Zakarpattia TRC and SS was suspended from his position: Lubinets stated violations of rights and corruption risks

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi has dismissed the head of the Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.

This was reported on his Facebook page by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

"We have repeatedly recorded human rights violations and corruption risks, particularly in the activities of the head of the Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center. We have spoken about this publicly, sent official responses, and demanded that the violations be stopped," Lubinets stated.

He noted that violations were repeatedly identified in the activities of the dismissed head, but employees of the Ombudsman’s Office faced information pressure and attempts to fabricate criminal proceedings against them.

"Why was such a situation even possible? This is the result of more than one day and the actions of more than one person. When there has been no proper oversight for years and systemic problems are not addressed, a sense of impunity develops. This, in my opinion, is exactly what happened in Zakarpattia," Lubinets noted.
