Russia announced a strike on the port of Reni in Odesa region: Russian Defence Ministry claims attack on Ukrainian Navy

Russia stated that at night it attacked not only the port of Izmail, but also the port of Reni in Odesa region. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that the targets were deployment points of the Ukrainian Naval Forces and port infrastructure.

This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

According to the Russian agency, as a result of the night attack, deployment points of the Ukrainian navy were hit, as well as port infrastructure facilities in Reni.

Earlier, Ukrainian authorities confirmed the strike on the port infrastructure of Izmail. At the same time, the Ukrainian side has not yet confirmed information about hits in Reni.

The Ukrainian Naval Forces did not make statements about arrivals in Reni.
