SPFU case: how the SAPO and NABU investigation uncovered the Dubai and French assets of Hmyrin and Kolot

The wording of the SAPO and NABU press release dated July 31, 2026 — «a number of apartments in several buildings in the UAE» — is legally attributed to Hmyrin and Kolot, not Sennichenko.

The primary data array regarding the properties was transferred to NABU by journalists from “Schemes” of Radio Liberty back in May 2025: 9 apartments worth $7.3 million in Palace Beach Residence Tower 2 near Palm Jumeirah were assigned to Kolot; 111 m² in the Grande residential complex worth $1.3 million to Hmyrin; 500 m² in Il Primo in the shadow of Burj Khalifa worth $5.5 million to Anastasia Hmyrina, registered in the name of the mother-in-law.

GFM Investment Group LLC is registered in Boulevard Plaza in Downtown Dubai (DED license 967369), ownership form — LLC Single Owner (sources: BizSearchUAE, ImportGenius).

The managing company is Nataliya Afanasyeva, a broker at the Dubai agency TOP Apartments Real Estate Brokerage. According to her profile, she is a citizen of Kazakhstan, and on Facebook she indicates Moscow as her hometown.

The Dubai GFM acts as the founder of GFD Côte d’Azur SAS in Nice (SIREN 951 445 261, RCS Nice, registered April 12, 2023, address: 48 boulevard Jean Jaurès through the Smart Buro service). The management bodies indicate a president born in 08/1995. The financial statements for 2023–2024 were submitted on December 4, 2025, with a confidentiality statement in accordance with Art. L.232-25. The age of 30 matches the profile of Oleksandra Veselova, who, according to the first data array, was the director of GFD; until March 2024 she worked at the Dubai GFM, studied at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade, and until December 2022 — a lawyer in Moscow.

In the same brokerage agency works Anatoliy Holovin, son of the judge of the Kyiv Economic Court Kateryna Holovina and grandson of the former chairman of the Constitutional Court Anatoliy Holovin. His uncle, Yevhen Holovin, is a Dubai business partner of Hmyrin and owner of the BVI company GFB Company Ltd, on which the yacht is registered.

Russian management, judicial relatives, office in the most expensive business center Downtown, Nice SAS with closed beneficiaries — all this was created during one summer of 2022.

Andriy Hmyrin was detained and interrogated in Nice. The extradition hearing has already been scheduled. The case involves about 23 million euros; a 400 m² villa and five land plots (total value about 5 million euros) on the French Riviera have been seized, as well as the yacht Cranchi Settantotto 78 worth approximately 5.5 million euros, registered through Holovin’s BVI company.

This is supplemented by a report dated March 13, 2026, about the detention of Volodymyr Kolot in Dubai. There is still no official release from NABU or Dubai Public Prosecution regarding this episode.
