DIU has published data on 26 vessels used by Russia to transport oil, liquefied gas, and stolen Ukrainian grain

The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has released information about 26 vessels that Russia uses to transport energy resources, agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and liquefied natural gas.

This is reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Data on the vessels has been published in the “Maritime Vessels” section of the War&Sanctions portal.

Among them are tankers transporting Russian oil and petroleum products from ports in the Black Sea and Baltic regions on behalf of Lukoil, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz, Novatek, Tatneft, and Gazprom.

The list also includes dry cargo vessels exporting agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine through the ports of Berdyansk, Sevastopol, Kerch, and Feodosia.

Separately, the Defence Intelligence highlighted LNG tankers transporting liquefied natural gas from the sanctioned floating storage facility SAAM FSU (IMO 9915090), where LNG from the sanctioned Arctic LNG-2 project is accumulated.

According to intelligence data, 18 of the 26 published vessels are not under sanctions imposed by any of Ukraine’s partner countries.

In particular, the list includes the bulk carrier LAMAR S (IMO 9154505), which in 2026 repeatedly loaded wheat at the Avlita terminal (Avl LLC) in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The grain was subsequently delivered, among other destinations, to Syria.

Also on the list is the general cargo vessel NAYA FALCON (IMO 8033120). In 2026, it exported food-grade soda and granulated wheat bran from Sevastopol to Egypt and Cyprus.

Another vessel is the tanker GREGAL (IMO 9378876), which belongs to the fleet of Cymare Navigation FZC from the UAE, affiliated with the Russian company Sovcomflot.

The Defence Intelligence emphasized the need to synchronize sanctions measures and detain violating vessels in order to restrict Russia’s maritime logistics and deprive it of resources to continue the war.
