Enemy losses: since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost almost 1.5 million military personnel

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have neutralized approximately 1,497,980 Russian military personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Over the past day alone, the Russian army’s losses increased by another 1,540 personnel.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, as of September 7, 2026, are approximately:

• personnel — about 1,497,980 (+1,540) persons;
• tanks — 12,332 (+1);
• armored combat vehicles — 25,284 (+6);
• artillery systems — 49,311 (+51);
• MLRS — 2,103 (+7);
• air defence systems — 1,609 (+4);
• aircraft — 441 (+0);
• helicopters — 355 (+0);
• ground robotic complexes — 2,516 (+9);
• operational-tactical UAVs — 502,717 (+1,473);
• cruise missiles — 5,070 (+0);
• ships and boats — 35 (+0);
• submarines — 2 (+0);
• motor vehicles and fuel tankers — 145,026 (+591);
• special equipment — 4,647 (+3).
