Among the possible candidates, the current acting Prosecutor General Oleksiy Khomenko is also being considered.

The Telegram channel «Vidsich» writes about this with reference to its own sources in law enforcement agencies.

Valeriy Prykhozhanov, who heads the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, is a person from the president’s orbit. Another main candidate named is Director of the SBI Oleksiy Sukhachov.

At the same time, regarding Prykhozhanov there is a serious reputational nuance: it was previously reported that he was involved in a fatal car accident. The accident occurred while the prosecutor was under the influence of alcohol.
