"Today there will be decisions": Zelenskyy announces new defence support packages and air defence reinforcements

Ukraine is working with partners to protect the population from Russian terror. Today, decisions will be made regarding, in particular, defence support for Ukraine and the protection of the skies.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Today in our Pavlohrad, Russians killed people with drones who were simply near shopping centers. As of now, it is known that four people have died… My condolences to the relatives and loved ones. More than 60 people were injured by this single strike alone. Everyone is receiving assistance. Dozens of people were also injured in Kramatorsk by a strike from Russian bombs directly on residential buildings," he recalled.

It is also noted that other cities and communities in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, Sumy region, Chernihiv region, and Kharkiv region came under attack. In the evening, Dnipro and Kyiv were also under attack.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is working as much as possible with our partners so that we can provide protection to Ukrainians from such Russian terror.

"Today, decisions will be made on additional support packages for Ukraine, including defense support and specifically for the protection of our skies. We are also preparing additional support packages. The world sees what Russia is doing. And there will be support for Ukraine. One hundred percent of attention is now on this — concrete strengthening of our defense, concrete funding for defense, concrete opportunities for weapons manufacturers to protect lives. Thank you to everyone who is helping!" he added.
