"Everyone is pretending that this is a surprise": Tkach stated that the attack on NABU and SAPO was being prepared for a week
Suspended Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, according to journalist of «Ukrainska Pravda» Mykhailo Tkach, did not act spontaneously when signing suspicions against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and a person from the circle of SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko. According to him, preparations for possible actions lasted about a week.
This was stated by journalist of «Ukrainska Pravda» Mykhailo Tkach.
According to Tkach, over the 7 days following Kravchenko’s resignation announcement, he and other representatives of law enforcement agencies and political elites were in an atmosphere of preparation for a possible attack on NABU and SAPO.
«These 7 days since the resignation announcement, Kravchenko, in particular, was living the same thing that other representatives of law enforcement agencies and political elites there were living — an atmosphere of preparation for a possible attack: collecting various information, systematizing it, and so on», Tkach stated.
The journalist also believes that such preparation could not have been unexpected for the country’s leadership and the head of the parliamentary faction «Servant of the People» David Arakhamia.
«This information could not have been new, in particular, for the country’s leadership, for the head of the president’s faction David Arakhamia, who until the very last moment... tried to save Kravchenko from resignation, including during a meeting with the president», Tkach said.
