State Secretary of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Hennadiy Dmytrenko has published his e-declaration for 2016, Ukrrudprom reports.

According to the document, last year his salary at his main place of work was almost 200 thousand hryvnia. Let us recall that before his appointment as Secretary of State in December 2016, he worked as the first deputy governor of Zhytomyr.

In addition, Dmytrenko received 882 thousand in income from the sale of real estate, of which 631 thousand was declared on behalf of the Secretary of State’s son.

Another significant source of income for the official in 2016 was a gift in foreign currency. This is 30 thousand dollars or, converted to hryvnia, 816 thousand UAH. According to the declaration, he received the gift from Viktoriya Shostak, but no information about her could be found.

His wife Ruslana Dmytrenko, who works at the State Financial Inspectorate of Ukraine (position not specified), earned more than her husband in a year - 312 thousand UAH.

The family of the Secretary of State also owns a certain amount of expensive real estate, but most of it is registered in the names of Dmytro’s wife and son. For example, Hennadiy Dmytrenko himself owns a 0.1-hectare plot of land in the Zhytomyr region. His wife owns 0.1 hectare of land in Zhytomyr region and a 38 square metre apartment in Kyiv.

Another apartment in the capital of 94 square metres is jointly owned by his wife and son.

In general, the younger Dmytrenko is the most property-rich member of the family. He owns 4 land plots (three near Kyiv and one in Zhytomyr region) and 1 residential building of 260 sq m in the capital.

The head of the family has only a little over $8,000 and UAH 800 in his bank accounts, but he has as much as $30,000 in cash. Another $3,000 is on the account of his son Dmytro, but Ruslan’s wife does not seem to trust banks.

Strangely enough, no vehicles are declared as owned by Dmytrenko’s family members, although the Secretary of State is registered in Zhytomyr region, and his wife has an apartment in Sofiyivska Borshchahivka. Only his son has a home in Kyiv.

As reported, in December, the competition commission for the senior civil service elected Hennadiy Dmytrenko as state secretary of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In total, Hennadiy Dmytrenko declared UAH 1,941,460 in income, of which UAH 815,700 was received as a gift in 2016.
