Despite the fact that one of the most "stable" Ukrainian ministers is considered to be Arsen Avakov, it seems that the chair under him is being shaken by the head of a criminal group, writes Argument.

This became known from a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which had previously given an interview to journalists.

Recently, secret information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been leaked online even before it reaches the current minister’s desk. Who is behind this and what kind of leader might the National Police of Ukraine get?

The answer is obvious – the position of the head of the National Police is being targeted by the "notorious HUBOZ officer" Viktor Remskyi. He got his nickname thanks to his rapid career, iron grip, and ingenuity.

Starting his path as an ordinary officer in the patrol service, he managed to rise to the deputy head of the Kyiv HUBOZ, take control of the entire capital’s drug trafficking, and while serving as the deputy head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration under Zhebrivskyi, oversee all smuggling. As a result, he became known as the "governor’s wallet" and the "gray cardinal of Donetsk region."

Remskyi’s new business is detective agencies. Initially, there was "Sokil," which was eventually stripped of its license, but in its place came "Falcon." Under the guise of legal and security activities, Remskyi’s people engage in illegal surveillance, wiretapping, and blackmail. His activities are financed by the oligarch and chairman of "Donbasenergo," Eduard Bondarenko.

With the help of Arno Martirosyan – the deputy head of the department of the Criminal Intelligence Department of the GUNP – operational information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs is leaked, which is then used by Remskyi for blackmail and extortion and also appears on the website Detective INFO.

The culmination of this whole story is Remskyi’s plan to take the post of head of the National Police of Ukraine after the resignation of the current Minister of Internal Affairs. Remskyi sees himself in this position.
