Ukraine returned home the bodies of 58 dead defenders

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War informs about this in a Telegram .

“Another repatriation measure took place, as a result of which 58 dead defenders were returned to Ukraine,” the message says.

As noted, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will ensure the transportation of repatriated bodies and remains to certain government institutions for transfer to law enforcement officials and forensic experts to identify the identities of the dead.

After identification, the bodies of the defenders will be handed over to relatives for burial.
