DIU names those involved in ’Maidan-3’ discrediting campaign: counter-intelligence measures continue

Russian politician, former aide to the Kremlin dictator Vladyslav Surkov and First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Serhiy Kyrienko are involved in the subversive campaign of the aggressor country, codenamed ’Maidan-3’. The operation against Ukraine also involves collaborators who have sided with the occupiers.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov. On 1 March, he spoke on the air of the United News Marathon.

The aggressor spent about $1.5 billion on Maidan-3. Moscow considers such an investment profitable, since it is already spending huge amounts of money on a full-scale war.

“These are not new methods,” Yusov noted. When asked by the presenter what Ukrainians would see at the peak of the Russian subversive campaign, he answered: “Zrada”, “ganba” and many other words that we all know well, which will be used in different contexts. These are attempts to disrupt mobilization measures, attempts to delegitimize the decisions of the Ukrainian government and, in general, undermine the situation within the country and undermine our international coalition."

“As for specific names: yes, Kyriyenko, yes, Surkov. It is clear that all the traitorous collaborators who were sheltered by Muscoviya will be involved in this in one way or another,” added the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region.

Also, Ukrainian intelligence has the names of people who are now in our country and can act as “objects of influence.” “This does not mean that they have already given consent. This information is being checked and clarified,” Yusov said.

He emphasized that counterintelligence activities are carried out constantly and do not stop.
