The date of the next meeting in the “Ramstein” format has been announced

The 20th meeting of the Contact Group on the Defence of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format will be held at the base of the same name in Germany on March 19. US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin invited ministers and military officials from around the world to discuss the crisis and our country’s challenges.

This was reported to Radio Liberty by the press service of the US Air Force in Europe. They noted that the head of the Pentagon plans to hold a personal meeting.

"Austin again invited the world’s defense secretaries and senior military officials to discuss the crisis in Ukraine and the various security challenges facing U.S. allies and partners," the statement said.

Let us remind you that the 19th meeting of the Contact Group on the Defence of Ukraine with the participation of almost 50 partner countries took place on February 14. Based on its results, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov announced the start of the work of an integrated air and missile defense coalition, as well as a coalition of drones.

Commenting on the supply of F16 fighters to Ukraine, the minister noted: “We are on schedule within the framework of all agreements with partners.”
