The White House announced a new $300 million aid package for Ukraine

The US presidential administration will allocate a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $300 million.

White House spokesman Jake Sullivan announced this at a press briefing .

According to Sullivan, the new military aid package to Ukraine will, among other things, contain artillery shells and GMLRS missiles in HIMARS.

At the same time, the White House appealed to the US Congress to urgently pass a bill to allocate funding to support Ukraine. Sullivan repeated the words of US President Joe Biden that “time is ticking” and Ukraine needs help right now.

This is the first package of military assistance to Ukraine from the United States since December 2023.
