Occupants hit a 9-storey building in Selydove: an elderly couple and a teenager are among the victims

As a result of a Russian strike on a 9-story residential building in the city of Selydove, Donetsk region, five people were injured.

This was reported by the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

As a result of the impact, the ceiling between the 5th and 6th floors was destroyed, and a fire broke out in the apartment on the 5th floor.

Employees of the State Emergency Service rescued 4 residents of the house, including 1 child, who could not leave the premises on their own.

According to prosecutors, occupation forces struck Selydove with an as yet unidentified weapon at 15:40 on April 8. The weapon hit an apartment building.

Five people, including an elderly couple and a 16-year-old girl, were injured. Victims with injuries of varying severity were provided with medical assistance.

A pre-trial criminal investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war.
