Ministry of Defence explained why demobilisation was removed from the draft law in the Rada

A representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence said that demobilization was removed from the bill at the request of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“There were wishes from the General Staff, which understands the operational situation and the threats facing the state. We cannot make hasty decisions now. It is clear that there are a lot of populist thoughts,” said a representative of the Ministry of Defence.
