President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russians managed to destroy the Trypilska TPP because Ukraine had completely run out of missiles to defend it amid a lack of help from its allies.

Zelenskyy said this in an interview with PBS

Zelenskyy commented on the joint defense of Israel by the allies, who repelled an Iranian attack over the weekend. According to the president, Israel itself would not be able to defend itself against such a massive attack from the Iranian side.

“A lot of things were involved that Ukraine lacks... This is truly a demonstration of what allies are not on paper, but in the sky,” the president said, adding that Ukraine defends the skies on its own.

He emphasized that the allies give Ukraine this or that equipment, but we have a shortage of it.

"I will give you one very simple example - at the Trypillya station, and the light in the Kyiv region depends on it. 11 missiles were flying. We destroyed the first 7, we destroyed 4 Trypillya. Why? Because there were zero missiles. We ran out of all the missiles that defended Trypillya," the president said.
