President Zelenskyy gives intelligence an important task, setting a deadline: air defence redeployment is planned

According to the president, one of the issues was the situation at the front. In particular, Zelenskyy heard a report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation in the main directions.

“The occupation army has the task of demonstrating at least some victories before May 9, without taking into account its own losses. Now they are also being urged on by the positive decisions of Ukraine’s friends. It is difficult for our soldiers, but the receipt of the necessary assistance will level the situation. That is why support with the specific weapons that ours have partners" that we urgently need," the president said.

Issues regarding the production of weapons by Ukraine were also discussed. The head of the Ministry of Defence, Rustem Umyerov, reported on the results of this. Ukraine is working on a new format of agreements, which, on the one hand, will not burden the military budget, and on the other hand, will guarantee long-term obligations of the state to producers.

And the third question is the protection of Ukraine from Russian shelling.

“At the next Headquarters, I gave instructions to collect everything that our intelligence knows about the intentions of Russian terrorists to destroy civilian infrastructure, and to prepare a comprehensive plan for further actions: strengthening physical protection where it works, redistributing air defense systems and decentralization where possible,” the president said .
