The Russian Federation constantly uses artillery near Chasiv Yar.

Russian occupiers continue to storm the positions of the Defence Forces in the area of the village of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. This was announced by the head of the press service of the 26th artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleh Kalashnikov.

“They cannot surround Chasiv Yar from the flanks, so they are trying to storm it head-on. They are greatly hampered by Klishchiivka and Andriivka, here we can observe their assaults. They are trying to put pressure on those directions that they consider to be priorities for themselves and consider them the most successful for yourself," Kalashnikov said.

According to him, Russian troops have significantly increased the use of guided bombs in this direction.

“Today they use about 30-40 spacecraft per day. They began to take planes into the air more often and drop this spacecraft 50-60 kilometers away and it is already planning to fly to our positions,” Kalashnikov explained.

The speaker of the 26th Artillery Brigade also noted that the enemy has increased the use of mechanized components in the area of Chasiv Yar.

“Today, assault operations are carried out with the support of heavy equipment and tanks. Infantry is also delivered to the landing site on an infantry fighting vehicle, which in turn either follows a new batch, or remains on the battlefield and supports the infantry with fire. Artillery also works constantly, even if not assault actions are being carried out,” Kalashnikov noted.
