Stoltenberg: Ukraine will not receive an invitation to NATO at the Alliance summit in July

Stoltenberg stated this during a press conference in Kyiv.

"When the time is right, Ukraine will immediately become a member of NATO. We will do everything for this. In order for this decision to be made, we need all members of the Alliance to agree to this, we need consensus. I do not expect such agreement we will be able to achieve at the summit in July, but I think that we will be able to demonstrate that we are bringing Ukraine closer to membership," Stoltenberg said.
