The Office of the President of Ukraine talks about “tangible progress” in the work of Ukraine and the United States on a bilateral security agreement to continue the G7 declaration on “security guarantees” and hopes to agree on the final text in May.

The press service reported that Kyiv and Washington held the fourth round of negotiations on the upcoming security agreement.

We discussed the “most fundamental provisions” and the formulation of a number of questions. The date for the next round of negotiations has also been determined, but it has not been announced.

“I am grateful to the negotiating teams for the work already done - tangible progress in agreeing on the text of the document. We must speed up the process in order to finalize the conclusion of a bilateral security agreement this month,” said the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
