A man with a knife attacked TRC official in Dnipropetrovsk region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces report that a man stabbed a TRC employee in Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region.

“A civilian committed an armed attack with a bladed weapon (knife) on a sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the attack, a serviceman of the RTRC and SS received a knife wound to his hand,” the statement says.

The attacker was detained, and a criminal case has been opened under the article “attempted murder.”

The Ground Forces, commenting on the incident, stated that “this crime occurred precisely under the influence of racist information resources that spread fakes about the “illegality of the TRC”, the “illegitimacy” of the authorities’ actions on military registration and notification, the “illegality” of serving subpoenas, etc. and about the “optional” fulfillment of the constitutional duty to defend the Motherland in general.”

True, it is unknown whether such “criminal influence” is the real background to the case or whether it was expressed as an assumption by the press service of the Ground Forces.
