Enemy losses: The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,240 invaders, 27 armored fighting vehicles and an aircraft

In battles at the front over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces killed and wounded at least 1,240 Russian invaders. Thus, the total number of enemy manpower “demilitarized” on our soil reached 498,940 people.

The fighters also destroyed 159 pieces of weapons and military equipment of the Russian Army. Data on this updated as of May 24 were announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The day before, soldiers burned 42 artillery systems (12,902 in total), 27 armored combat vehicles (14,775), 13 tanks (7,635) and three MLRS (1,080) of the Russian troops.

In the sky, the defenders shot down 10 Russian operational-tactical level drones (all 10,401), fighters of the 110th separate mechanized brigade “landed” a Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region - the second enemy aircraft shot down (for a total of 356) on their account in recent years two days.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have also destroyed 2,209 cruise missiles, 819 air defence systems, 326 helicopters, 27 ships/boats and a submarine of the Russian Armed Forces.
