Shmyhal: Ukraine is counting on help from Poland in the energy sector
Ukraine is counting on Poland’s help in the energy sector. Partners can provide generators or modular boiler rooms.
This was reported with reference to a statement by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“We held a meeting with the delegation of the Polish Senate led by Marshal Małgorzata Kidowa-Blonska,” Kuleba said.
He said that during the meeting they discussed military support, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, sanctions against the aggressor, confiscation of Russian assets and the development of border infrastructure.
“We have separately focused on the situation in the energy sector. We count on Poland’s help in supplying the necessary equipment, in particular generators, modular boiler houses and gas turbines. We intend to decentralize the Ukrainian energy system to make it less vulnerable to the enemy,” the minister emphasized.
He emphasized that Ukraine highly appreciates the extraordinary level of support for our state from Poland and the Polish people.
“In this context, I also thanked Poland for providing ammunition for air defence,” said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
