In the Chasiv Yar area of the Donetsk region, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation intensified mechanized assaults. This was announced by the head of the press service of the 26th artillery brigade named after Coroner General Roman Dashkevich Oleh Kalashnikov on “Espresso”.

He noted that the invaders were unable to cross the canal; they tried to do so, but Ukrainian fighters stopped them. According to Kalashnikov, those who manage to break through are destroyed.

“It should be noted that they (the occupiers - Ed.) intensified assaults with a mechanized component. If earlier they used this less, that is, they saved more equipment, but today they are trying to break through our defenses somewhere with small armored formations with infantry,” said Oleh Kalashnikov.

A brigade representative noted that the enemy is using tanks and armored fighting vehicles. In addition, the intensity of shelling by the Russian Armed Forces has increased in the Chasiv Yar area, in particular, the enemy is using artillery and mortars.

Kalashnikov added that the Russian military is not giving up attempts to attack Kleshchievka, Andriivka, in the direction of Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka and Chasiv Yar.
