Macron: France will transfer Mirage 2000 aircraft to Ukraine

Ukraine will receive combat aircraft from France as part of military assistance.

There will also be a pilot training program.

This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Le Figaror .

“France is helping the Ukrainians resist, but we don’t want escalation,” he said.

Macron added that tomorrow, during his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he intends to begin new cooperation.

We are talking about providing Ukraine with Mirage 2000-5 aircraft, as well as training pilots.
