Management of Municipal Enterprise "Transport Infrastructure of the City" exposed for embezzlement in Dnipro

Law enforcement officers reported suspicion to two managers of the municipal enterprise "Transport Infrastructure of the City" of the Dnipro City Council and three entrepreneurs.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The attackers are charged with embezzlement of other people’s property on an especially large scale and official forgery committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons.

According to the investigation, officials of the utility company, involving individual entrepreneurs, set up a scheme to steal budget funds during the operation of parking lots in the city of Dnipro.

According to the report, using forged documents, the suspects reduced the area of parking spaces specified in the contracts. This led to a lack of funds coming into the budget.

With their illegal actions, the suspects caused damage to the local budget amounting to UAH 5.8 million.
