Ukrainian Armed Forces tell what will happen if occupants seize Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka road

If the Russians take control of the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road, Ukrainian troops will have another way to get to Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter Yevhen Iyevlev stated this in an interview with Channel 24.

He admitted that this route is strategically important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, there are other ways for military support:

“Donbas has been at war for not two and a half years, but ten years. During this time, many paths have been created. The enemy will not be able to capture and control everything. There are paths in the fields that are even better than asphalt roads.”

The military man admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not want to allow the invaders to reach the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka highway, but this will not create too serious logistical problems. At the same time, he emphasized that the route is very important for the Ukrainian army, since it opens the borders to Kostyantynivka and Pokrovsk, but this does not significantly affect logistics.
