The occupation forces continue offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction, in the Chasiv Yar area of the Donetsk region.

The head of the press service of the 26th artillery brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleh Kalashnikov, told the media about this.

In this direction, the Russians used armored columns in May and June. However, now the Russian Federation is mainly carrying out assaults by small infantry units from several directions.

“They do not attract equipment. Now armored fighting vehicles are used more for logistics, that is, for transporting ammunition and other equipment, but not for supporting infantry, not for landing, not for covering them with your fire,” the head of the press service emphasized .

The occupiers’ tanks do not go directly onto the battlefield and constantly maneuver during assaults.

“This is a so-called “roaming tank” that fires at our defensive lines, which it storms, from different points,” Kalashnikov added.
