Judge Dmytro Lemishchak bought a new electric car for UAH 1.15 million in Zhytomyr

Dmytro Lemishchak, a judge of the Zhytomyr District Administrative Court and the son of the chief treasurer of Volyn, bought a BYD Song Plus Champion (2024) during the war.

This is stated in the changes to his declaration.

On June 28, the judge became the owner of the car, purchasing it from the Kyiv Kalyna-Avto LLC. Dmytro Lemishchak paid 1.15 million hryvnia for it. Prior to this, he released reports of significant changes in property status and noted expenses for the purchase of vehicles made on May 21, 2024.

Lemishchak is the son of the head of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine in the Volyn region, Mykhailo Lemishchak.

Dmytro Lemishchak was interviewed by the High Qualification Commission of Judges in January of this year. Based on its results, Lemishchak was recommended to be appointed a judge of the Zhytomyr District Administrative Court. In April, the High Council of Justice decided to submit a proposal to the President of Ukraine, who, by decree of May 8, 2024, made the corresponding appointment.

Before this, Dmytro Lemishchak worked in the Volyn prosecutor’s office and was a lawyer. During the interview, he headed the legal department of the Service for Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Development in the Volyn region, which is engaged in the construction and repair of roads of national importance.

Last year, at his main place of work - in the Service for Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Development in the Volyn Region - Dmytro Lemishchak earned more than half a million hryvnia, or 42.2 thousand hryvnia on average per month. At the same time, his total income for 2023 amounted to more than 1.7 million hryvnia. Dmytro Lemishchak kept his savings in only fifteen banks. He had 1.3 million hryvnia, 35.2 thousand dollars, and 3 euros in his accounts. He also had 24.5 thousand dollars in the bank safe and indicated that he had another 93 thousand hryvnia and 5,100 dollars in cash.
