Zelenskyy thanked the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers for replenishing the exchange fund with captured occupiers

The past three days have been "especially productive" for the Ukrainian military not only in terms of consolidating positions and moving forward, but also in terms of capturing the invaders. This refers to the operation in the Kursk region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about this in his latest address to the country. The head of state did not directly mention the fighting in the Russian region neighboring Sumy, but hinted at it, emphasizing the time frame - the fighting in Kursk region has been going on for three days.

"I am grateful to everyone who carries out such tasks for Ukraine. Who fights for Ukraine truly steadfastly and bravely. I am proud of all our combat brigades! And I would like to separately thank those of our soldiers and our units who ensure the replenishment of the exchange fund - take the occupier prisoner and thus help to free our people from Russian captivity," the president noted.

Zelenskyy stressed that this is not only extremely important, but “especially effective over the past three days.”
