We are preparing a response to Russia, - Zelenskyy

This is stated in the president’s video address.

"Today I started the day with a separate long conversation with Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi: both on repelling this missile attack - in detail, and on our response to Russia - we are preparing it; we also discussed the issues of using F-16s and continuing our actions in the Kursk region in certain areas as Ukraine needs," he noted.

According to him, over the past 24 hours the Defence Forces have gained more control and have replenished the exchange fund once again.

The commander-in-chief also reported to the President on the situation at the front in the Donetsk region, in particular in the Pokrovsk, Vremivsk, Toretsk and Kurakhove directions.

As a result, decisions were made aimed at strengthening Ukrainian positions.

In addition, the President added, during the Headquarters meeting he heard reports on energy – the current state of the system and the possibility of restoring it.

Zelenskyy assured that work to restore energy facilities will continue around the clock.

“We also examined in detail the situation with protective structures at energy facilities – there are also several important decisions on this matter,” the head of state said.
