A fire broke out in Cherkasy as a result of an enemy attack

On the morning of August 29, during an air raid alarm, a fire broke out on the territory of an enterprise in Cherkasy. The debris from a downed Russian drone fell there.

There is no information about casualties, the city mayor Ihor Taburets reported.

According to him, the enemy drone’s fragments hit one of the regional center’s private enterprises. Rescuers are working to extinguish the fire, and emergency services are also at the scene.

The official called on residents to take care of their safety, as the threat of an attack by attack UAVs in the Cherkasy region remains.
