Ukrainian defenders destroy a Russian "Solntsepyok" near Chasiv Yar

Ukrainian servicemen have released a video of the hunt for the TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" and the destruction of this heavy flamethrower multiple launch rocket system of the occupiers. The defenders carried out the operation in the area of the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

"Solntsepyok" was attacked by FPV drones of the "Rarog" battalion of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. The video was published by the press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram on September 10. The date of filming is not specified.

Drone operators from the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade ambushed and destroyed Russian equipment as it moved into position and launched missiles at our territory. The camera of one of the FPV drones recorded the launch of two enemy shells. After that, the drone, loaded with explosives, crashed into the launcher.

At the end of the video, smoke can be seen over Solntsepyok, which was hit by several drone strikes.

"Solntsepyok" is a terrible weapon that fires thermobaric rockets," said Serhiy Bratchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South".
