Beating of a military man in Smila: the attacker was notified of suspicion and put on the wanted list

The prosecutor’s office has reported suspicion to a man who beat up a serviceman in the city of Smila in the Cherkasy region.

The Office of the Prosecutor General writes about this.

The attacker is charged with extortion and hooliganism (Part 4 of Article 189, Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Since he is hiding from the investigative authorities, he has also been put on the wanted list.

Prosecutors filed a motion with the court to detain the suspect and bring him to court to decide on a preventive measure in the form of detention.
